Mcdonalds opening soon

im told that mcdonalds are looking for licencees in granada area of spain. One of the sites is Bazza. I wonder what the deal is. Im going to see what the costings are. Is itva new store or is the one open now

Remember when we went to Granada and had a mc Donalds for the family.

All I kept thinking it worked out nearly twice the amount that a menu de dia!!

When you got meal of the day!! Local to Baza, 3 courses and bottle of wine for less than a big mac meal!!

Or just burn the 5 euros on beer and get free tapas, there was no competition really

The beer and tapas would be the best option i think Col, wins hands down everytime.

nooooooo - it's been great living round here 2 hours from proper fast food chains

You're right Col! when out, beer and tapas is all you need
- McDonalds not really food is it haha - mainly salt and 'special ingredients'

and if I ever see a KFC or Burger King we're doomed

You are a high flyer 5€ for a menu de dia, the filling station just off the motor first turning off to Baza coming Granada price 3€

That isnt menu del dia Peter, the menu del dia there is 7 euros i have it on a regular basis, being alone and all that

does anyone know what you get for that €3?

But the cheapest menu the dia,and a good one was the bar in campcamara

5.50 euros and it was excellent excellent

The most expensive was Emillios , but had manta better ones and cheaper than Emillios.

Saying that Emillios always made you feel at home, but preferred the bar before all the alterations, and then the beer was only 45 / 50 cents,!! and that was when it was 1.5 euros to the £1.

I remember sitting down at the bar in camcamara and working out it was about £3.30 per meal, with a beer!!

Peter is quite right, the menu del dia at the petrol station he mentions is only 3€ and it's on Monday-Saturday. They have a printed menu, which changes daily, on each table and there is a choice of 3 things on the first course, main and dessert. They supply a basket of bread but drinks are not included. For an extra 3€ you get a jug of tinto de verano. It is good, wholesome, well cooked food and excellent value for money. x

which petrol station is it as there are two at that junction

Yes i have friends that have been there too they said it was lovely ! well it will have the board outside saying 3 euro's for the menu !! that will tell you which one !!

i usually goto the one on the north side towards benaumarel so i will have to try the other one on saturday then

Sounds bloody good, 3 euro for menu del dia. You may just get a take away sandwich in a UK fuel station for that.

well, the Lorca ones up and running as is one in Aguilas. Theyre getting closer! Maybe Baza is not that far away.
What with Jonny Depp having a place in Benamaurel and Jesse J looking in St Clemente, its all happening.

I'm sure that we saw Rab C Nesbitt's wife Mary Doll at the Orce Medieval Market last week. If not it must have been her Spanish cousin Mary Dolores !
