Sadie, young alsatian-X looking for a home

We are currently fostering Sadie and her litter of pups for El Capricho. They were found by Carol at Vista.

Having already homed 3 of the pups we now have 2 left to home, and Mum, Sadie. The puppies are 12 weeks old.

Sadie is a very intelligent Alsatian cross, no more than 18 months old. Medium in size, it is hard to tell what she has been crossed with, but at some angles she appears to have Collie in her, and possibly a little Husky. Whatever the breed mixture, she is absolutely beautiful. She has been spayed.

Sadie is not good with cats or chickens, which is why she cannot stay with us. That said, she is very very smart and easy to train (but so clever she has learnt to 'leave' and be on her best behaviour until our attention is elsewhere). She is now house trained, lead trained, knows recall and to wait for food.

Because we have three 15yr old cats and chickens, whilst with us Sadie needs to be chained in order to protect our animals. Obviously this is far from ideal, particularly when she can see our other dogs are free to do as they please. Sadie deserves a permanent home where she can have freedom and the space to run and play. She is very good with people and children, and she LOVES a cuddle. She is fantastic with other dogs, and gets on with all of ours (all sizes, ages and temperaments).

Sadie will be a great family dog but clearly needs to live in a home without cats or chickens. She is such a loving girl and we'd love to see her go to a fantastic new home.
