UFO meetings at VISTA
When we lived in the Denia area we used to go to the UFO club in Javia and found it very interesting. Has anyone seen UFO’s in this area. Maybe we could have UFO meetings at VISTA.

UFO's
You are a real card Peter, I seen loads of UFO's when I was younger, mind you I was on a few chemicals at the time. In my own personal opinion I can't see things coming hundreds or thousands of light years to buzz cars, Frighten some half wit out if their mind or peer up someones jacksie. I could be wrong of course. Still, a club once a week/month to debate stuff might be a good idea? like a think tank. May the force be with you.
Re: UFO meetings at VISTA
I dont know whether there is anything in this UFO thing or not, I tend to think that maybe there is. Theres a lot of sightings in Devon, Dartmoor being very popular.
I hope that you get some support for this Peter and that people will appreciate all these efforts that you are making to try to pull the comminuty together.

Just tell him that they transport young single women, he'll be out all night with his telescope.

Re: UFO meetings at VISTA
As Dave said the SW seems to be a popular spot for UFO sightings, I used to live on the outskirts of a very dull village called Pensilva in Cornwall but it had a tv transmitter nearby and many believed they had seen UFO's checking out the Caradon mast.
I did drive through a beam of light at about 5am one morning which startled me a little but I think that may have been one of Castle Air's helicopters buzzing a lone car.

If it's the Doug Wilson father to Karl & Teresa yes I do know him - Gosh blast from the past. Kit Hill, Gold Diggings & a favourite place of mine to walk was from Pensilva over the sand dunes and into Crows Nest for a well earnt drink at Doreen Earls pub where you would have to help yourself if there was one of the soap opera's on TV - Happ days when the weather was half decent.
Re: UFO meetings at VISTA
WE used to attend this UFO group lots of members and had a very big liberty plus experts from all over the world to give us information. Pam Handford was a retired secretary from MI6 and formed the club.

Aliens
Two aliens landed in the Arizona desert near a petrolstation that was closed
for the night. They approached one of the petrolpumps and the younger alien
Addressed it saying, 'Greetings, Earthling. We come in peace.. Take us to
your leader.'
The petrol pump, of course, didn't respond.
The younger alien became angry at the lack of response.
The older alien said, 'I'd calm down if I were you.'
The younger alien ignored the warning and repeated his greeting. Again,
there was no response.
Annoyed by what he perceived to be the pump's haughty attitude, he drew his ray gun and said impatiently, 'Greetings, Earthling. We come in peace. Do
not ignore us this way! Take us to your leader or I will fire!'
The older alien again warned his comrade saying, 'You probably don't want to
do that! I really don't think you should make him mad.'
'Rubbish,' replied the cocky, young alien. He aimed his weapon at the pump
and opened fire. There was a huge explosion. A massive fireball roared
towards them and blew the younger alien off his feet and deposited him a
burnt, smoking mess about 200 yards away in a cactus patch.
Half an hour passed. When he finally regained consciousness, he
refocused his three eyes, straightened his bent antenna, and looked dazedly
at the older, wiser alien who was standing over him shaking his big, green
head.
'What a ferocious creature!' exclaimed the young, fried alien. 'He damn near
killed me! How did you know he was so dangerous?'
The older alien leaned over, placed a friendly feeler on his crispy friend
and replied, 'If there's one thing I've learned during my intergalactic
travels, you don't want to mess with a guy who can wrap his dick around
himself twice and then stick it in his ear.'

Not tut tut at all , as Peter will be aware if aliens do exist here on earth they are far more intelligent than us, as they know the technology of inter terrestrial travel . With Peter and his interest with what we mere humans know - it makes ya wonder

I have to say that I am a fan of the Ancient Aliens theory, archeolgy dont seem to be finding too many answers, but the hollow moon theory ...mmmaybe not - I think that one should be discreetly PUSHED to one side an never mentioned again ?? But hey,the truth is out there somewhere

Re: UFO meetings at VISTA
I too am interested in the Ancient Aliens theory and having just watched two seasons of Ancient Aliens from the History Channel I have to say that there is some seriously compelling evidence to support this. Jude you may want to have a read of the book Chariots of the Gods by Erich Von Daniken.
If anyone wants a copy of the three seasons of this show that I have, just provide me with a blank DVD and I'll burn it for you.

Re: UFO meetings at VISTA
TFS n Dave,I obviously agree with you, there is a awful lot of evidence on this planet that just doesnt add up,and I do agree with Graham Hancox who says that we are a species with amniesia ....sorry I cant do inverted commas...well anything on the top row...my keyboard is knackered??? I do intend to read Von Danikens book and a few others...but I have to say that the ruins at Puma Puncu in Bolivia, are something else... or built by someone else ? I could go on about this one for ages. Maybe when I move to Spain we can continue this one. Question about Freila, someone has told me that there is a.. dog problem, and by that I mean packs of ferral dogs, anyone heard anything about this ? I did go and veiw a couple of properties there and saw the construction work going on,seems strange that to be investing that sort of money in a place that has a pack of anti social dogs,I dont want to upset any dog lovers,I too am a dog lover, and cats,in fact all animals

Re: UFO meetings at VISTA
There is a dog problem all over Spain, it is no worse here than anywhere else. Once they get to packs, generally speaking, the Ajuntamiento step in and get the dog catcher in.
