I used to work in Wales, commuting from Plymouth and in my excitement to go home one Friday afternoon I was caught speeding across the bridge and stopped by two 'Hedlu' (Police).

I was cautioned regarding the speed I had been travelling and to make matters worse after they had finished in English they then said in unison that I was to be cautioned in 'God's own language'! The only amusement was (and I didn't point it out) was that the Welsh language didn't have words like speeding, penalty points, company car or reckless disregard to other road users. Basically I was cautioned twice taking 40 minutes for driving 12 mph over the limit - Must have been a quiet day around Newport that day which is amazing if anyone has ever had the courage to drive through the massive housing estate there called Splott.
