Good News?

Our friend that lives in Sonning Common near Reading has just told us, three houses in the road she lives in came up for sale and all three were sold in three days, could this be the start of something good

Depends where you are in the UK, Peter. I'm afraid some of us are still in a downward trend and, after the cuts that are coming, will be even more so because of the higher proportion of people employed in the public sector as compared to other parts of the UK.

Good news for flat owners too, I've heard that they are being sold all over the country now, and they're getting more for them than they would have done two weeks ago. Happy times ahead, just like the good ol' days.
