Cave House Insurance

Hi Everybody

I am sure somebody will enlighten me but can anybody recommend an insurance company who will cover house plus cave accommodation attached as well as contents insurance.

We are currently covered by Liberty Seguras for the house we live in at the moment but they will not insure our 'new' place, which is a house and renovated cave accommodation (obviously not really new).

Your help and advice is really appreciated.

By the way, our place is in the Ricote Valley, Murcia, rather than Andalucia but this was the only well used Forum I could find.

I have heard good reports about AXA, they have paid out on cave damage this year unlike most.

We are with Zurich

We plan to be with Zurich after reading plenty of info from other insurers. We will not be renewing our Santalucia policy.

Cancelled santa lucia last year ( thery are a nightmare !)
& now with Lloyd & whyte who excellent english speaking phone line / good rates & clearly state cave and front build covered etc
