Different cave constructions
I gather that there are different types of cave construction depending on the rock strata with some caves having an impervious roof with others being dug into an aggregate and having a mesh / sprayed concrete lining? Is one type more problematic than the other?
Which areas / villages have the least /most problematic rock strata?

Sorry we cannot help. We were far more concerned with locality, views, neighbourhood, public and mains services than the actual construction. Your best bet might be to rent different caves in different areas and see what you think about them all.

When we were looking, I had a discussion with Sean at Spanish Inland Properties about the different rock types.

Thanks,
Maybe I`ll talk to Sean myself and perhaps pick peoples brains in the local bars when I come out.
