Cave house now legal !

Yes after waiting three whole years our Cave house is now proper legal ! In fact Victorioh tells us that our Escritura is better than a normal one because of the bundle of Court papers attached to the front. So, not that we want to sell it but we could if we wanted to.

So anyone waiting for their Escritura to come through from their solicitor that is about how long it would take. Bearing in mind ours was a total reform.

Ours has just come through too, and ive heard that one of our neighbours has just recieved his. Perhaps theve just found a file in a dark corner

Don't want to dampen everyone's joy - but solely having an Escritura doesn't mean anything unless you have a Nota Simple - this should be located at the back pages of your Escritura and consists of 2 pages of property registry details, have a look, if you have it then not only are you legal but your also mortgageable, if you don't have it all you have is an Escritura (literal translation writings) which just lists the property paper trail.
