Post by suzylou Mon Jul 19, 2010 9:54 pm

Anyone know if there are any hire shops in the Castril area. I'm looking to hire a mini-digger for a few days. It's something I haven't noticed before on my travels. Cheers Surprised

There is a good reliable guy in Freila who does a lot work with a mini digger. Reasonably priced and knows what he is doing. I have used him a few times. If you want his details, pm me.

Are you in Castril suzylou?
If you want to do the digging yourself there is a hire place in baza.

Echoing Mikey's comment, the place in Baza will also deliver the equipment to you.

Also, there's an English lad working there so you can make sure you don't end up with a cherry picker being delivered instead!

It's called Maqui_Indal, and it's at the poligono between the hospital and Bigmat, on the front stretch about halfway down the length of units and it's on a corner. Normally there's a cherry picker parked outside with some other machines.

If it is the same one they are all thinking of it is on the Ctra de Murcia road between the Hospital and the mootorway. Coming from the hospital on the left on a service road. There is the new DIY shop and various garages along there. It is in between a junction and the Motor Factors, Repuestos Vincente. You should be able to see it easy enough as they normally have lots of that type of machinery in the yard outside.

Just looked on Google streetview and the number is 677 566 709. Hope that's the one they mean.

Has anybody any idea of the hire rates for a mini digger, and if they have a trailer for it?
Or any contacts for someone who could dig me a hole for a fossa septica in Orce.

The hire shop details provided by me and duplicated by la mancha have mini diggers for hire, they will also deliver to you - for a cost! Expect it to be around €60. Don't know what the hire cost would be, but based on other large plant I have hired from there I would expect it to be in the region of €80 per day, reducing pro rata for each additional day. I think your best option is to find someone in your area.

Mini digger would do the job a treat. Tis only a small hole, do you have a trailer, I can operate if its easier for you, or you may not want someone else using your machine? Ill pm you with a picture. Very Happy
