Information

A new information centre in Baza for Ex pats has opened last week,it has the backing of the Mayor. He wants us to apply for the various things we are entitled to have. Mind you he has never had to try and do it,so far I get blocked at every turn by paper pushers. but at least it is a step in the right direction.

Encouraging though. Perhaps with his good intentions the paper will become easier to push.

The new information centre in Baza is called Fusions and is loctated in the old This n' That shop in Calle Sierra Morena. It's a great place to pop into for a cuppa and a chat or for information on a range to subjects pertaining to expats in Spain.
The girls have a wide range of knowledge and offer many services such as translation, trips, property purchase, insurance, airport runs, help with Spanish paperwork and most importantly expats rights in Spain.
The Mayor of Baza has a great wish for the English and Spanish to be involved in this together so the girls are preparing to have English classes for Spanish people.
The shop also incorporates a little market of it's own with Spanish and English vendors selling a variety of goods.
Why not pop in and have a look, you won't be disappointed!!!

Ill be over in a couple of weeks. It would be great if we could recruit a few Spanish to join us on the forum?

Yep I have a stall there selling original paintings and will soon be holding watercolour classes if anyone is interested.

hi John, if you go to the top of the page and click 'profile', then 'avatar' and browse the gallery, youll find a few caveman pics to choose from. If you want to add your details go ahead and we'll look at it. If you've got a website, blog or facebook put a link and ill sort it out for you.
At least you had the decency to ask!

I am interested,will take a look at your website. I was a freelance artist and teacher of art for twenty years.I managed to survive for long periods on just my art,it is my life. Most of the work I do now is realistic and take on commissions when I can get them out here.I have a small selection at the information centre in baza and will be holding an exhibition in the cultural centre of larger work in October. No problem. I saw the Gallery tab and activated one but as yet not found time to work out how to upload,but will do so. How do you lead people to your gallery. sorry my question mark does not work.
