Carboot sale this Sunday.

The El Capricho gang will be at the carboot sale this Sunday come hell or high water, general strikes, bad weather etc.

Huge apologies to those of you who turned up a couple of weeks ago with donations, blankets and towels - Please forgive us, or shout at us on Sunday but bring your donations and your support

We have had a very expensive few weeks paying vet bills for vaccinations for the four new puppies and a large account for dear Mami who tragically passed away which was devastating plus the normal feed bills which always increase during the winter period.

I will be covering Christmas Day, the 27th and New Years Day at the centre (gets me out of cooking 2 lunches ) along with our usual team. As our start times will alter over the Christmas and New Year period we are trying to collect as many treats and toys for the dogs to keep them occupied - As all pet owners know dogs have a very accurate ability to judge the time so if they have a few chewy bones to play with that will keep them busy.

We will have a box for you to pop treats and toys (old ones as well) into - No fresh bones though as they'll be stinky by Christmas. If you haven't the time to buy anything but would like to help the Christmas fund please donate anything you can spare but tell one of us it's for Christmas so that we can put it in a seperate tin and I will make sure we get as much as we can for the cash.


Hope to see lots of old and new supporters on Sunday and also a big thanks to those who continue to support us from the UK.

we'll be there, and thank you muskateera for the cards you made for xmas and b/days with the rescue dogs on them, they are selling well, I had a spanish lady buy 3 today, which touched my heart,

also sawdust is in short supply so if anyone is from huescar or cullar and knows if the carpenteria has any sawdust let us know and we can collect.

Sawdust is a major issue, I went to the Baza carpenters shops today but as they all said no work = no sawdust. Benamaurel has a sack for us but that's not going to go to far.

If anyone can find some I will gladly collect it if Shiny can't.

Matt have you been to the chippy up the side road next to Hermigones Almanzora? I think it's quite a large workshop, could be worth a try. I won't be going over there till next week so if you're ok for a few more days I'm happy to ask them then.

Sorry I wont be there to support you guys this Sunday - we are full for Sunday lunch so will be busy all day!

Not sure, where abouts is it? I've resorted to buying packs of sawdust at the moment which doesn't go very far but it's better than nothing.

No worries, I'll try and do a drive-by on Monday and see what's what.
