Window alarm

I am looking for an alarm system that I can fit in the entrance to the cave window which will activate when the cat comes to pee up the window. I have seen them advertised in the paper but it was a long time ago.

Thank you Pat, just have this happen twice in ten years once at our daughter’s bedroom window and once at our bedroom window. There is always a drawback where ever you live as you know we live a bit like Tarzan and Jane i.e. in the country so get all kinds of wild life Snakes, Frogs, Tortoises, Dogs, Cats, Foxes, Family of Owls, one mouse some five years ago. Etc. etc.

Bit extreme Peter lol!

Anyway if you have another mouse that would frighten your elephant Very Happy

I know what you mean about all the campo creatures we have had out fair share to, Rats, mice, snakes and scorpions we also have Owls but I look on them as a natural selective rodent preventer. If you discourage the cat totally you may find yourselves over run by mice, just put a repellant near the windows - let the puddy cat munch on Micky Laughing

Tiger pooh is the answer. Put a gurt big dollop of it on the window sill. Aparantly no cat will come anywhere neer it.
Serious, they used to sell it at Paignton zoo. Maybe they'll do mail order.... Wink

peter have a word with Mike and Sue on the market,mike is a tech wizard.He made a similar device which spray the area with water,activated by a pir...great result no more problems with cats!!!

he used a simple valve (inlet valve from old washing machine and a pir) just attach a hose....simples..
