been here four years and only just got broadband

hello to everyone. just joined up to see what all this about, but after reading through a few posts, it seems that you all help each other out (well, most of you anyway!).
maybe i can do the same.
so after four years, and like a few others, of messing around with dongles and the complete waste of time and money dial up, finally got onto broadband. only down side is, unlike the dial up you can`t start to download a file, go to the pub, have dinner, build a new wall, dig the garden over and come back to the computer with 2 days remaining on the download!!!!!!!!!!
just need to get rid of the old transit (breaking for spares by the way, lwb, rhd, most parts available). dave might scrub that last bit as this is only my first post!
still got a bit more cave reforming to do, AND WHERE THE HELL DOES ALL THE SOIL COME FROM?

have you noticed, that seeing as nowadays most people have a camcorder or video on their phone, there are no more ufo sightings!
plus, now the miir space station is in orbit together with thousands of (alleged) spy satellites, no one gets abducted by aliens anymore!

Welcome to the life of high speeditivity (new word) and the forum. The reason why there are less ufo sightings now is that most people have seen chinese lanterns.

not too good with pictures, but will get some together later. as for the reform, probably typical cave before, no kitchen,living room or bathroom, now typical cave house. no neighbours which is even better, just plenty of space. by the way, if anyone is really good with computers, maybe they can advise me how to stop this one crashing all the time. you get half way through wri
