Tai Chi for Dogs

El Capricho is a new project for the protection, care and re-homing of stray and abandoned dogs in Baza and surrounding areas.. They have premises in Baza, provided by the Ayuntamiento, but are desperately in need of funds to help with the construction of bigger and more spacious pens and gardens, to make it a real home for the dogs.

To raise funds for the refuge I'm arranging an intensive Tai Chi morning Sunday 29th May 10am -12pm at my house in Baza, at a cost of 5€ per person. This will be held in the open air, and will probably be more fun than exercise as most people will be absolute beginners!

Spectators will be very welcome too, and will even be provided with a cold drink and a biscuit. All we ask is a donation, however small.

All of the proceeds will go to the refuge.

Thank you so much to everyone who made the effort to come down on Sunday, some from a considerable distance away. And a huge THANK YOU to Maggie & Richard for hosting the event. Everyone who partook in the Tai Chi seemed to enjoy themselves as equally as those who just watched and socialised.

The fantastic sum of €160.24 was raised which is absolutely AMAZING.

I understand that these lessons could be a regular occurrence so please check directly with Maggie for further details.
