Is anyone else here old enough to remember Breakfast at Tiffany's and Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn) desperately knitting her dreamed-of ranch? That's what it felt like when I made a loose cover for a huge sofa. First arm and side - fine. First half of back - fine. Cushions - fine. Thereafter it felt like I was wrestling with miles of fabric, and they were winning. I won, in the end, but remember it with horror. Wish I'd known Lesley then.

I had a similar experience to Jenny last year when I decided to recover an old armchair and sofa. Got the armchair done with lots of swearing, blood, sweat and tears (looks good) but couldn't raise the enthusiasm to tackle the sofa! x
