Stargazing Live

Stargazing Live on BBC2 at 8pm. Did anybody watch it last night? Really interesting, and as Andalucia is one of the best areas for looking at the stars, you should all be getting out there with your bino's or telescopes! Tiz on again tonight. Well worth watching!

Probably the best bit of free software on the internet! (IMHO)

Put in the GPS coordinates and altitute of your location and it gives you a live map of the sky complete with planet/star/constellation/nebula labels.

If you don't have one try and get a head torch too as you need to be able to read em in the dark - I got one from one of the cheap stores in Baza for 3 Euro and works really well. Going to have a look at Stellarium now.

I have a photo we took late night and I will upload it when I know how - think it needs reducing.
