Brighter lights
So I am still new to cave living and always learning, you may already know this? Top tip if you have the roof tile light shades and find them a little dull. If you place some silver foil inside to reflect the light it totally transforms the room with a lot more light. You could also paint the inside white but the foil only took me a few minutes to do, so much less hassle.
So let there be light!!
Let me know what you think

Good idea- I hadn't thought of that. The inside of the tile is usually rough and not painted. I've also found that some of the older lamp sockets don't work with cheap LED lamps, although I can't work out why. Maybe the profile of the base is different?

We bought our LED bulbs from IKEA and not had any problems. Some of the light fittings become very stiff and difficult to remove the bulb but a little bit of Vaseline on the thread helps.

I've noticed that some LED lamps still have a dim glow even when switched off. I think that means some of the switches are in the neutral line and not the live one. Need to get my trusty meter out....
