Pet friendly hotel

Hi we are traveling over from Bilbao and wonder if anybody can recommend a hotel just before or just after Madrid, stayed in the Alisa in Lerma, Burgos before and it was great but need somewhere a bit further on this time that takes dogs ( 2 small ) any suggestions please

Search for the Hotels in 'El Molar' (seriously) have a look at Hostal Azul . Its just North of Madrid, so you can have a long drive from Bilbao without having to take on Madrid until early next morning. They have secure car parks (one a large Garage) so your stuff is also safe. Its also only 5 minutes off the main motorway. They take pets.

Only a suggestion, it was clean, secure and good value. We did it by car last year and motorcycle the year before, consistently  good standard. Good Pizza place a 5 minute walk away.

If you like a bit of peace and quiet, and still be north of Madrid and just off the Motorway, try the Country House Aal Cachucho, San Augustin,out in the sticks a bit but you get your own 'mini apartment' and pets are allowed. NOTHING around you and only 20 mins to Madrid. A lovely eccentric Dutch owner with a kind heart, get a meal before you go there!Nice apartments, car parking but not secure. IF you are riding a motorcycle as well, give this one a miss, the approach road will have you off on your a**! Its that bad.
