Our friends were married at home in Galera by the local judge. The groom was Bolivian the bride English. So a Scot might be eligeable however I think residencia might be in the equasion too.

Re: wedding
does she want a religious wedding or a civil wedding at your house?
For a religious wedding you will require forms from the church, these will need to be completed and submitted to the Town Hall.
For a civil wedding they have to go to the Town Hall to register.
In both cases, after the wedding the forms have to be taken to the Town Hall.

Re: wedding
register that they are having a civil wedding at your house. There will be a form to fill out at the Town Hall before and after the wedding.
The paperwork is fairly conclusive.
You can get married in Spain provided that you do all the necessary paper work required. The government recognises both civil and religious marriages involving foreigners or between a foreigner and a Spanish national. Some of the necessary documents required are birth certificates, passports and consular registration certificates.
To get married in Spain, you will first need to show your original birth certificate and your passport. You will also be required to show a Consular Certificate of a No Impediment to Marriage. It is a sworn statement to show that you are both single and ready to marry.

This might help, but can't see anything about where marriages can take place. One thing it does say is that one of the pair have to be resident in Spain!
Why not email the consulate?
