Contact lenses in Spain

Contact lenses. Where do you get yours from and what sort of deal are you getting? Carole gets hers from 'lens direct', but postage to Spain is expensive.

thanks for the reply, which chemist in Huescar? I think caroles hoping to find a supplier by mail similar to specsavers in the UK.

the Caja Rural Bank is on the corner, go down the side of the bank and the 1st chemist on the left is where they sell contact lenses, hope that helps

I have hard gas permeable contact lenses and recently had to get some spares. I tried Google, but eventually contacted the company that were on the bottles in the USA. They were cheap and fast free delivery. They don't do soft lenses though.

As long as you know your prescription, you could try an Internet search in the USA maybe?

I thought you had come to live in Spain. We had this problem when people we employed from the UK; my wife said we came to live in the country not off the country as we do now. We and our friends get our optical glasses and hearing ads from a shop in Baza fantastic service, our friend has just had a super deaf ad (Chose out of ten) and 400Euros cheaper than another place. We always get our glasses from them.

This is meant as advice not criticism I hope you will take it as such if you want to make it here.

Oh, and ive seen you driving into Lidl's in your Renault Clio, no doubt wearing a Marks and Spensers g string boxers

Consum have an anniversary and say they have “GRAN OFERTA” see my wife has marked up some things in the catalogue one or two with? behind them. With petrol being cheaper might be worth the trip.

As for the “no doubt wearing a Marks and Spensers g string boxers” must be the one our chauffeur gave me as a leaving present he also was wearing a Marks and Spensers pullover but I did not get that. (He was an ARAB wearing Marks and Spensers (Jewish clothing) we had a bit of fun with him about that.

Think i might need glasses....where is Lidl and Consum,cant say i,ve seen those opticians in Baza ..maybe its near the corner where the chicken shop is and the cuckoo clock shop meet..gotta get summin done about them soon..
