New Spanish Airport Tax

From 1st July there will be an increased tax on flights leaving Spain and all the airlines are obligated to pay it, therefore all passengers must pay it. Check it out on the Ryanair Website. Another way to make us pay more!!

No extra charges were requested by Flybe yesterday. Why use Ryanair as your primary source of misinformation?

Max about 2.5% increase , that is on the tax not the total fare, unless you are flying from somewhere like Madrid.

It is not misinformation as you well know now from your thread! The reason I put Ryanair as my source is because the majority of people in the English community near us use Ryanair, but does it matter? The tax is for all people flying out of the country. I fear the 2.5% increase is just the beginning.

Going to cost us another 29 c per flight and yet the British press are all over it again - Mind you on top of the Blackpool airport renovation charge of £ 10 plus the Uk's APD taxes far higher than Spains ( who is lower than most european countries ). Doubt I can ever afford to go back now- shame
