Creepy Crawly
Have had three of these little blighters in our home over the last couple of days. Two in the kitchen sink and one on the back of the sofa! eek!
Apparently can give you a nasty bite but aren't venemous.
They move very fast!!

They're called sunspiders or wind scorpions (because they 'run like the wind' apparently).

Re: Creepy Crawly
Hi, Flying Dutchman - these creepy crawlies are actually called Solifugae (to give them their proper name) but are also known variously as camel spiders, wind scorpions, sun spiders or solifuges. So we are both right.
Take a look at Wikipedia.

Re: Creepy Crawly
Now if one receives a bite, is it a case of putting your head between your knees and kissing your arse good-buy, ...........????
Re: Creepy Crawly
We have had a couple of them inside this year too - (and if what Mikey says is right.......I am now going to be searching for those other 10!!!)
