I grew some in my Corral, it grew like a weed (no pun intended) I had used it in my youth. I wouldn't use it now, I'm scatty enough as it is. One of my nieghbours likes it, so I gave it to him. Haven't grown any since as there was a substantial amount I gave away and it has lasted him. About time they put a bit of sense into it. loads of people use it, all ages and all walks of life, so cut out the criminals and supply whoever wants it, Over 18's at least. Then there is less chance of them being tempted by a dealer into stronger stuff.

I agree,if it were legal in the uk etc the crime rate would half.Supply over 18´s yes good point .

but what is to stop them trying some weed and then thinking that they can handle something stronger and trying other stuff, there is a very fine line and it is a tough call for any government to make, damned if they do and damned if they dont.

yes Mikey it is a tough call,I know people that have cannabis tea and they are drinking very strong coffee now,they are addicted. But it has been proven to help the elderly with aches and pains.43 years old mickey,you will be growing it soon..

Bit older than you,in my 50's ! Someone told me it's got it's advantages ,but I can't remember what they are ??? (another senior moment!!)

ditto Jude,over 50's we have lots of senior moments my wife keeps telling me.

my brother thinks that I can't be trusted to move to Spain on my own - cos I need someone to keep my wits about them !!!!

Yup. Happy is the word, and without artificial stimulants. Up to now.

Well here in the Scottish Highlands it ain't too easy to grow. What with low ph soil, no sun, nearly 3 meters of rain a year, average temperature of very little, and various other reasons that are just reminding me of why I shall be moving over there asap to join in all the happiness!
The last time some locals here tried growing the stuff they were shopped by an air-sea rescue helicopter crew. The 'copter was making it's way home after a rescue on Ben Nevis. They had kept their infra red camera running and noticed a house giving off an abnormal amount of heat. Turned out it had a very warm loft where the plants were being grown. Plods were alerted and that was that!
