Tombola & Raffle, Christmas Fair

There will be a box for items to be dropped in at Vista at our stall. Also, Kate Dengra aka Pebbles has kindly offered to have a box at this Sunday's car boot for people to put stuff in. She has a new venture (can't wait to see what it is Kate!) and will be there providing the weather is good. If you don't know Kate, she's going to be there with a camper van, so hopefully easy to spot. And you can of course bring raffle and tombola items to the El Capricho nave in the El Baico Poligono 6-8pm, Monday to Friday.

Anything in the Benamaurel area (or Freila) that needs collection just give me a shout - Cave Bunny's up to her ears and can't do it all.

I am just helping a friend sell her old stock from her two shops she used to have in Granada - I am not sure really what she has but I am quite excited to find out myself!!!!

95% chance of rain tomorrow so I am not going tomorrow (plus my little boy is poorly again and since it is less than 4 weeks ago since he was in hospital with pneumonia - I am a little scared to leave him with anyone other than myself)

Is there anyone else going that might be able to take the raffle donations for Jo?

I've mentioned to Jo on FARCEBOOK that maybe we at Cueva Pedro could be used as a drop off point. We could then either get the stuff to someone later in the week or bring it with us on Sunday morning. x

Can I say we would be so grateful for all sorts of values of prizes and the cheaper things are just as appreciated as the teasers - think tins, jars , unused toiletries , packets like snacks, biscuits, sweeties , unwanted nic nacs / Jewellery etc etc etc also bottles and cans of drink both soft and boozy , kids toys or books - Yeah we are brave for when a kid doesn't win what it wants we can handle it the list could go on and on . It could be time to go through those cupboards and make more room for your own Christmas treats .

The plan is I will be picking them up from Vista on Saturday morning to number up as many as possible and will take any raffle donations over to Cave Bunny , but we will also be prepared to take more at the Fayre , on Sunday morning and number them up and add to the tombola as and when we get them.

Oh Thank you Shiny/ Mrs Shiny and others , Musketeera it would be handy to have them in advance, I am planning on doing as many as we can Saturday night, so it isn't all a mad panic Sunday morning - IF you can get them to Vista before 12 pm that is the time I plan on going there to collect. IF not if you could at least give me some idea of how many items you have I can at least sort out the 5's and 0's ready to stick on them Sunday am and fold up the tickets in advance ( that would also save a bit of time Sunday morning )

For anybody else if you can't get them to Vista , it really is no problem bringing them on Sunday we will be more than prepared to add items throughout the day . The Tombola is looking really exciting now, there is a good mix of prizes and the odds are good. So bring a few euro's

Sorry I'm not going to make it to Vista tomorrow due to baking and then meeting up with Clive & Les' who are flying in for the event bless them. There's not a huge quantity and most will go for the raffle so I'll have to give the rest to you on Sunday.

OH MY WORD !!!!!!!! A HUGE THANK YOU !!!!! to everybody that has so far donated to the tombola - I have just been like a kid Christmas morning ticketing everything up. You know who you are, unfortunately I don't but there has been so many generous donations so I can't thank you enough - the tombola is going to be so much fun - so Thank you again there is room for more though

I am hearing through the grapevine that the home produce will also be having some really yummy things and there are some very nice things to be raffled . Sally with mulled wine and special recipe mince pies, also all the other amazing things - I am sure it is going to be a very special day at the car boot sale tomorrow.
