Hayfever Empty Hayfever

Post by pebbles Sun May 09, 2010 9:24 pm

Has anyone got a latest copy of the Sierras? I had one but passed it on to someone else and I forgot to write down the name of the nasal spray for hay fever! Could someone let me know what it was called please!

Thanks for that. We seem to be really affected by it this year. Had to rush my daughter who is here on holiday to Benamaurel with severe asthma attack, Doctor said it was due too the pollen and has prescribed extra medication.

My hubby has suffered badly for many years, to the extent that he usually has the steroid injection in the UK. However, it's not as bad for him here!!! Not sure why. I have heard that the Spanish antihistamines are better than those you can buy over the counter in the UK. elephant

Hayfever Empty hayfever, name of the antihistamines

Post by flojo Fri Jun 11, 2010 12:30 pm

Could you please tell me the name of a good antihistamine, I did get the ones that were mentioned in the sierras but I have lost the box and cannot remember what they were called. The nasal spray works a treat.

I have to suffer - not even allowed to use the nasal spray because I am still breastfeeding.

All they said I could use was a Vicks inhaler! huff!!! sniff!

and my friend found me 'Hay Max' which is just like a posh vaseline you put on your nostrils!

Pebbles, I think Spain is a little out of touch with the antihistamine/pregnancy/breastfeeding situation. There are safe, approved products than can be used nowadays. Gilly & I will advise as necessary!
