need a bit of help or advise Empty need a bit of help or advise

Post by Boothjendar Mon Apr 25, 2011 9:06 pm

Just noticed a large crack in a supporting beam of my pergola, which has caused the stucture to move and sag. The pergola is constructed from really heavy posts similar to telephone posts and is looking pretty dangerous at the moment.

In order to fix the problem I suspect I would need the use of some Acros or some sort of elevated platform in order to either replace the beam or take the structure down if it looks to unsalfe.

Does anybody know of someone who either has this type of equipment or would be willing to either fix or remove the structure? I dont imagine it would be a difficult job with the correct equipment would imagine it would only take a few hours. I'd have a go my self but don't even have long enough ladders.

Any help much appreciated.
