Travelodge in Spain

May be handy to some of you.....i didn't realise that Travelodge had places in Spain

Madrid or Barcelona for 19 euros a room for the night cant be bad!

Has anybody got any recommendations for overnight stops when driving down through France? Ideally with venturing too far from the motorway.

Dave there are loads of places on the motorway that are comfortable and affordable

Campanile Hotels are motels with free parking, ensuite rooms and restaurants on site. Costs are around 65-79 euros for the room - includes coffee making facilities, breakfast 4.80 euros per person. They allow pets in their rooms.
Premiere Hotels are part of the Campanile group and are around 43 euros for the room, breakfast is limited and costs 4.80 euros per person. No restaurants on site although if a Campanile is nearby apparently you can get a discount on the restaurant prices by showing your Premiere booking info.
Fasthotel are around 35 euros for the room, breakfast is 5.50 euros per person. Some have small cafeterias on site.
Etap are hotels around 40 euros for the room, breakfast 4.70 euros per person.
Ibis from 64 euros for the room.
Have only stayed in Formula 1 place once and didn't like it as it is not ensuite. You have to leave your room for the bathroom and then remember a keypad number to return to your room. Would rather pay a little more and not have to remember a number ( I have enough problem remembering pin numbers as it is).
All prices quoted do depend on location as some places near popular tourist areas do charge more. Most of those mentioned have places just off motorway junctions but you can check their web sites for more exact directions. Hope this helps.

Valencia Airport too, opened end of September. Wish they would open one near Alicante airport!!
