Alsorts shop
One person tells me the shop is closing, Natalie tells me to tell you it is not closing so you must deside what is happening. I have not called the number but have been 4 times to get back my bits and pieces and each time they were closed.

Good old Peter, ask them why they were closed. If yoy rang the number you would have found out.

Re: Alsorts shop
He would have done it from a Skype fone anyway.
Seriously though, many people come here thinking they will set the world alight even though they have not "done it before", thay have a few quiet days, take a few days off because of it, and guess what.... word gets round that they're never open. Then what happens, yes you're right, turnover goes down, so they close. Who said anything about granny and her eggs?

Why Ken, did you not put the phone number on the forum you were there at the same time we were, it seems to be the only way left for the British to contact each other. Could save a lot of people from wasting time, fuel and money on wasted journeys from Huescar, Galera, Castril etc. We are lucky we live only some 7 minutes away from town.

Re: Alsorts shop
Peter, I am not going to get into a ping pong match over this. I know your intentions are good.
I made that comment as there may have been really good reason why the shop was shut, and emergency or other for example.
I am pretty sure that if someone had turned up rang the number, they would have been helped.
The lady who runs the shop works really hard here and in the UK to make a living and keep the place going.
Comments such as that, no matter how well intended, can damage a business.
