Report on Wednesday's demonstration in Castillejar

Here's a link to a report in Ideal on the recent protest march in Castillejar. As far as I could tell we two were the only non-Spanish to participate!

Didn't know there was a protest march on. Was home all day so could have joined in as we agree that the road definitely needs work done to it. How did you find out about the march?

There were posters up around the village and in all the bars. I check the notice board outside the town hall whenever I'm in Castillejar cos there's always info on it. Fermin's had a poster up on his notice board too. I used to post just about everything I knew of on this forum, but haven't been doing that so much lately because it never seemed to have any effect!

We may have gone had known.
We rarely use the bars.
But I do usually check the forum a few times every week.

The road certainly needs something doing to it.

Very few people knew about this demonstration. Proof if ever needed, how posting info does make a difference.

Half the village was there, so a good turnout!
