I'm new to cave life,,,and whoa!! it's fab!
Im really enjoying the forum...the hints and tips are so useful.

It takes a bit of getting used to, saying hello and smiling at people you don't know, after the UK, where if you did that the quincyquoncies could range from the cold shoulder to the removal of your personal valuables. Here, it could make you a good friend/friends. Works/ed OK for me, up to now anyway. So don't be strangers and or lonely, us cave dwellers are a gregarious lot on the whole.
