finance to buy a cave house

Can anyone tell me if there are mortgages available on cave houses?
Any ideas on ways to finance the purchase would be gratefully received.

Welcome. Mortgages....all depends on what and where, I think. SIP's website would be a good source of info for you. Give us some more info and someone might be able to help.

We have found a cave house that is ready to live in at a bargain price. We would need to borrow around 30,000€. We already live in Spain and my husband works in Gibraltar. We eventually want to live in the cave full time but will probably rent it out during summer for a couple of years. Unless we found work in which case we would move sooner.

I do believe we know each other , if it is you, we were talking about you all last week on the night of the metorites , and would you believe that night we had another fire over the hill - we missed you all . If that makes sense - hey how ya doing ? 

Is it British or Spanish you would be buying from ? the reason I ask sometimes Spanish will sort out a mortgage deal with them, got to be thoroughly checked out by a lawyer but it sometimes can be very fair . Might be worth asking about .
