Wasp attack

Was attacked by wasps yesterday. True, I was putting something up in the corral (Spanish outhouse) when 2 wasps came out and stung me, When I went back to spray them I was immediately attacked and stung three times. So I went in last night and sprayed everywhere with zum. Luckily I am not too bad with wasp stings and after bite worked OK. I'll see if they are dead today. I have been stung before but never by so many in such a short time and as far as I am aware unprovoked.

Poor you, little beggars deserve to die!

I know this was written about on the previous Aceboard forum with members offering ways to trap/divert the little critters but, having spent a lot of time last night searching for the thread, I cannot find it! Can someone please remind us how to set a 'trap' please. I do recall it involved a bottle/jar with an inverted 'top'.......not too sure about that last bit though

I seem to remember, you chop the top off your pop bottle and put it back on the bottle upside down so its like a funnel , then put something in the bottle and the devious little things go down the 'funnel' but cant get out. I cant remember what liquid you put in but imsure someone will sugest something.

I use an ordinary jam jar. Put something sweet and sticky inside like jam with an inch or two of water. Put a small hole in the lid and hang it in a tree. x
