Avatars (not the film)

On the previous forum I managed (after a struggle) to get an avatar to be shown under my name. How do you do it on this forum. Can someone explain in simple English for me - I'm not that technical. Thanks.

At the top of the page is the header 'profile' - click on that........

this brings you to a page that shows your information - there is another header 'avatar' - click on that..........

this brings you to a page where you can either upload your own from your computer (by pressing examinar) or choose from the gallery of avatars........
