3 puppies need a home

We have been feeding a lovely little dog for a few months now, in spite of the fact she has a Spanish owner (need I say more)She lives in the street near our home,so we can keep an eye on her every day.Anyway,the inevitable has happened and she now has 3 puppies.She has given birth in a disused building, and the puppies seem healthy.She is very hungry though, her so called owner doesnt appear to provide her with food or even water!We are making sure she is ok each day for now,and have given her and the babies a nice bed etc!I know that the place is full of unwanted dogs,but if anyone could take on one of them please let us know.They are about approx 3 weeks old now, they are not going to be big dogs.The mum is quite small but not a yappy little dog!She has a lovely nature, and hopefully the puppies will take after her.If anyone is interested they can come and see them now,we live in Freila.

Now those are all mega cute, especially the second one down, no room at our Inn but good luck with finding homes for all. Mum also looks a real sweetie.

All are sweeties.... but like santamaria I have a full house as far as dogs are concerned, but surely someone out there will give them a home!

Please bear in mind the mother is in need of a good home, we need to get her off the street, or she will be having pups for ever more!She is a lovely little dog,so good natured and loving!I would imagine the pups will take on the same traits hopefully!

Don't get me wrong I think it is wonderful what you are doing but is the owner of the Mum and dogs aware of it and do you have their consent to find them homes. They are as you say owned . Without their consent it is a matter of you getting the police involved and proving they are mis- treating them. Yes I totally think it sucks !!! but unfortunately it is the law. I just don't want anybody getting into trouble.

yes he is in full agreement with finding the puppies homes, why wouldnt he be lol!!But yes we take your point ..it would be nice never to have to encounter these situations but sadly it's almost a weekly problem here

If I lived there already,she could have come to live with me,and the puppies,till a good home was found for them

Oh I am glad about that, it is just we had another case of an expat wanting El Capricho to intervene with an doggy welfare incident and so I know if this was the case you have to involve the local police first, El Cap offered to go with them though. Guess it is the same in the UK you can call the RSPCA but they in turn they will only go with police to sort it out. Anyway glad you haven't got to go through any of that nonsense
