red diesel

Hi can anyone give me any info where to get red diesel? Got a repsol card from my bank but so far every petrol station has given me a severe shake of their head, am very confused now. Any info gratefully received.

A few people I know that run Diesel gennies and farm equipment etc have a bank card that they can only use for buying GASALEO 'B'. The guys I know are with the Caja Rural. Ask in your Bank. Don't know if this info is of much use but hope it helps...

I get my Red Diesel from the Repsol Garage just outside Galera.

As Shiny says and you have already done, Caja Rural ordered the card for me, which has an annual maintainance charge of around 15€. I believe it can only be used in Repsol Garages, but there are other places you can get Red Diesel without a card. I was told that somewhere in Huescar sells it too, but have yet to find out where it is!

I take in a large red plastic container, which they fill from the pumps by the entrance doors.

The card issued by Caja Rural can be used anywhere!

The petrol station on the A315 just outside Cuevas del Campo sells it, and when I bought 5 litres in a container to use with a generator, they made a note of my registration number - even though I was in a petrol car!

I wonder if they pass the details to the police?

I suppose they thought that you could have been buying it to put in another car.
