Must be open as I just picked my sister up from there today as she decided to cycle to Galera from Castillejar (and then decided there was no way she could cycle back!!!!)

We did the same cycle ride to and from Castillejar last August. I think I suffered a bit of sunstroke, it was scorchio!
I'm glad the hotel has finally reopened again.

Yes Dave, along the old road - I did warn her it would be HOT! but did she listen (needless to say I wasnt amused when I had to go and pick her up!) Evil or Very Mad

I've cycled many times along that route and it's always longer than you think - and harder on the way back! It is a gorgeous ride, but should be done either very early or late in the day - with lots of water on board.......
