Inverter wanted

I need a solar inverter, to convert 12 volts into 240 volts 1500 watts or bigger please,fair price payed. or does anyone know where i might buy one.

There's a solar shop in Caniles, on the main road, it's called SUN, WIND, POWER, I think. I've been in there before and they have up to 5k inverters, I think this is where Bruce buys them from.

Do you want a sine-wave or non sine-wave, price is very different. Also do you want the solar charger built-in or just an inverter. You'll find some on ebay ours was shipped directly from Taiwan to Spain.

Yes I need a pure sine wave, because a Modi sine wave interferes with the tv & radio.
The pure sin waves are more expensive but do a better job.
I have seen the inverters on ebay at good prices but they seem to quote up to 25 days delivery.

Seem to recall ours took about a fortnight to arrive, only problem is if anything goes wrong, cost of shipping it back to Taiwan is about the same as buying a new one. What sort of power output do you need. We use about 800Watts with lights, fridge, TV, PC etc. The only thing that uses more is the washing machine and we run the generator for that. Knowing what power you need makes big difference to cost too. As they consume power themselves getting one that is too big is a waste of energy and money.

The inverter we had was 1500 watts that ran everything except the washing machine & the pool, everything worked well untill that massive thunder & lighting storm that erupeted directly over us about saturday lunch time, whether it was just bad timeing or something to do with the storm, I don´t know but it stoped working after that. the display screen reads disconected due to short circuit. I have disconected the 240volt out feed cable & it still reads short circuit so the falt must be internal, I wonder if anyone knows a place that could fix it.
Also on ebay I can buy a 5000 watt inverter from Taiwan for 299 pounds, do you think that would also run the pool & washing machine but not at the same time.
