Cold Weather
As my mum used to say “Bless your cotton socks” HA HA
It is definitely colder now but you do not need telling that Have you all got your snow tyres on the car and the Ice Cleats, UK size 7-12 snow grip walking metal stud shoe boot attachments.
Wool socks for hiking and/or a wool/silk combination for running are important to snowshoeing. Never wear cotton socks when in the snowy elements.

Re: Snow?
Don´t know about snow shoes Peter, but we had a couple of mornings when our hot water, which comes from a solar panel above the cave, was frozen. A friend said she keeps a tap barely open all night to keep the water moving - Top Tip cos we´ve been able to take morning showers again!
