Young black tom cat found Castril area. Anyone lost him ?

Hi, I Hope the friendly and lost black tom cat is well.

There is a possibility that this is a Summer visitor's, summer kitten, grown into a young cat. Many campo cats have their litters in the summer months, so the young semi-feral cats are not too young, for their battle through the winter months.

Some of these kittens find their way into the households of the many summer visitors; many of whom are in the region for anything up to 12 weeks.

At the end of the summer, these now young and domesticated cats are left behind as the summer visitors depart.

Hunting skills they would have been taught by their original, cat mum and dad, not taught. Meaning, unless they find shelter in a human household, they wil not make it unassisted for long, let alone through the winter months to come.

These summer pampered cats, knock at all the doors that are still open looking for someone to take them in.

Maybe back cat was one of these?? We have a ginger tom who found his way into our lives this way.
