Bread ovens, the old ones in the back of fireplaces. Is anyone using them? does anyone have good or bad experiences of using them? Are the flues sealed up or rerouted for stoves or modern cookers?

Is it easier to get a good pizza oven outside and use that for baking and roasting?

I am the type who will be using the BBQ and outdoor areas as much as possible, and would prefer to cook using traditional methods when we are there.
