For Info: UK Govt Statement on EU residents / UK Expats etc.
Hi All,
Although this is the UK's proposals on EU citizens living in the UK and obviously its a basis for negotiation with the EU and hence not cast in stone, some parts of it make interesting reading as regards CURRENT health arrangements for UK citizens living in Europe, and what the UK (who are paying, so therefore it is not part of any BREXIT deal, its a bi lateral agreement between UK/ Spain etc.) are saying will happen to S1 Pensioners in receipt of @old Age' pension (you know who you are!!!).
Basically, just in case you were concerned. Current residents can 'cut to the chase' by reading Section 40 ONWARDS.

There are some interesting reads in there, as I said all depends on 'negotiations' BUT the Health thing is paid for by the UK, so they give their intentions clearly.

Update: UK Citizens living in the EU
Hi All,
Please see the below Farcebook link as regards this issue that affects us all 'over here'. Within the statement is a further link to the report on the agreement that makes interesting reading.

At least the 'cut off' date for residency has been agreed as when the UK leaves Europe, and you will see that great play is made on protecting the rights of people LEGALLY resident on that date. I suppose they had to insert this, but once' free movement' goes after Brexit, its residency or nothing by the looks.
Have a read, first few paras will give the info.
