Money problem
Hubby and I have just had our application for a joint account declined by Lloyds Bank (we both bank with them). We were hoping for a joint account to make it easier to transfer our pension receipts in one lump sum.
Do all the expat pensioners have a bank account in the UK or is there another way to get hold of one's pensions into one's Spanish bank account?

Re: Money problem
If it is a state pension they will transfer direct to a bank account in Spain if you contact them. If it is a private pension you may have to arrange for the transfer yourself but it is worth asking your provider.

What can you do with cent coins the BANKs will not take them, Shops don’t take them, and suppler markets will not take them. Anything under one EURO people will not take.
