Extra Room.

Hi all,
Just a question, has anyone had an extra room dug in their cave at all ? If so, what is a ballpark figure for costs ?

Yes I have. It all depends on the cave and size of the room etc. My builder lives in Huescar. Why not ask him for a quote?

with a bulldoze it will cost you around 100-130 euro for every meter depth by 4 wide and 3 high That is wat we paid 2 years ago

One question, though - how do you get a bulldozer into your house, or through the doors?

One of my spanish neighbours is having a full reform done at the moment, The work seems to be progressing quickly. I'm watching with interest and will have a chat with him about his costs. Will post what I find.

We digged out a cave by hand, . Working alone I could do 1m³ a day . Rock is very solid here and to deposit the rocks i had to walk 25 meter with a full wheel barrier .

Try to get a fixed price for the work , so you will never have a surprise at the end
