Dog Trailers

Does anyone have any information about dog trailers, how easy are they to use, do the dogs like it and are they legal in the UK please ?

I am sure the dogs love it. Put me in a metal box and tow me behind a fast moving vehicle any day of the week.

Would you honestly put your PET in a trailer and tow it behind a car? I feel guilty about putting our dogs in the back of an estate car.
I think the trailers youre refering to are mainly used for hunting dogs.........which is still crap

Has anyone got anything positive to say? Surely not all trailers are bad. Please help with some useful information.

Mandi, or LindyLoo (im not sure whos asking the question now), im sorry, in my opinion to transport a pet, its just unacceptable.  Can I ask why you would want to transport your pet dog in a trailer?
The EU has very strict guidelines for transporting animals by road, even on their way to slaugher. Im not sure if any rules apply to doing this privately in a trailer behind a car. Are you aware of how much polutants come from a car exhaust. Would you be happy to sit 4ft behind a car for several hours while it was revved at 4000rpm, not to mention being shut in a steel box in our extreme temperatures?  
Im afraid if youre looking for any positive comments on this, they wont be coming from me.

It is not me asking the question. I was just wondering if there was anything similar to a horse box that doesn't have vents at the front, there was a trailer ad on here that looked a little like a horse box but with 2 floors in. Yes i an aware of how much pollution that comes out of a car having lived in Birmingham for most of my life. But there must be some good trailers out there.
