Re: endesa
I understand it is Guadix now. I don't know how much you could do online?

Re: endesa
The website www.endesaonline looks fairly easy to use. Might be better than driving to Guadix, queuing for an hour, finding a vital piece of paper is missing and having to go back again (and again). Which was my experience in Baza - no fun in the height of summer!

Re: endesa
Thanks for replies. looks like I will have to go to Guadix though, as I need to do a name change on a supply. I'm bound to have to show them the escitura and Id.
Re: endesa
You can do most everything on line and it is in English, mostly. http://www.endesaonline.com/EN/Hogares/
Re: endesa
They seem to be offering a 4% discount if you switch to the online system. Has anyone done this and how easy is it. We aren't out full time so being able to do everything online might be useful and there is a discount too.
Re: endesa
When I try to sign up for Endesa's online billing, they require me to register with their online office system.
One of the attributes they ask for is an NIE. Now, my NIE starts with an X and ends with an R (as printed on my Endesa bill).
However their registration form rejects this as being "invalid". Trying variants, such as leaving off the X or the R just pops up a message saying they can't find my ID number.
So, the DNI/NIF that Endesa print on my electricity bill isn't recognised by their system as being a valid number. Aren't 'pooters wonderful?

Re: endesa
Pete it did that to me and mine has an X at the beginning which all extranjeros have. I used that number and clicked the passport option and then back on CIF and it accepted it. It showed as Tax ID on the form so not sure whether it accepted the NIE or the passport option.
