Ants in your ....

A week or two ago I was folding up the laundry, having taken it off the line and a cricket jumped out. This morning, I was doing the same with another batch, freshly off the washing line and out popped a centipede. This was duly caught (much easier than catching the cricket) and deposited outside.



Note to self: give washing a dam' good shake before taking it into the house.

Wasps are around now too and not nice in your socks!     

That particular centipede can give quite a nasty bite, so watch those and the smaller, longer legged ones too.

Now is a good time to spray the old ZUM around the outside of doors and windows, especially if you have been re-staining in the past few weeks!
