Largely celebrated in Catalonia strangely enough, in fact more so than in England. Happy world book day too!

I bet you can't guess the 2nd most read book in the world, behind the 1st being the bible? The clue is that it's a Spanish book... No cheating, no looking up on wiki!

What criteria Dave? Most purchased? Most published? Most passed down through families?

We were told this by our friend in Orce tourist info, heres a snip taken from Wikipedia:

Is that both volumes added together?

The only 'Spanish' book I can think of, is Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes. It was first published in 1612, so it must have sold quite a few copies!

I don't think anyone knows the exact number though - like the Bible, there are just so many versions of it.
