Re: Bullfight in Zujar?
I think horse racing is cruel because they whip the horses like mad to make them run faster but i am not gonna come on here and say it should be banned or it is wrong, i just decide not to watch it and let those that do like it carry on watching it, people who dont like bull fighting should just not watch it and let those that like to see it enjoy it, it is that sort of freedom of choice to be able to watch or not watch you should be grateful for.

Re: Bullfight in Zujar?
In October last year rules where passed where the jockeys can only use the crop a certain number of times and not with excessive force, if they do they stand to lose their race winnings and face a race ban. I agree with this enforcement totally. The matter to point is what has Horse racing got to do with Bull Slaughter, oh sorry I mean Bull fighting. A horse never died after the use of the crop, only in the Grand National, which I totally disagree with, I think it is cruel. Bull fighting is not even in the same league as Horse Racing.

i was just saying that horse racing is a cruel sport too but nobody is up in arms over that and it is personal choice to watch bull fighting or not, if you dont like it dont watch it and dont keep moaning about it, let people who want to see a matador do his stuff watch it in peace

Obviously a very emotional subject, and I hope Sally got the answer before the thread got hijacked. But just out of interest (might be a daft question) but what happens to the bull after its 'dispatched'?
