Hi All, wondered if anyone knows if there is a long term parking area at Alicante airport.

I checked the price of parking in the normal car park, as used to be cheap in San Javier, but in Alicante it is 18e Evil or Very Mad a day for the first 5 days and then 15e. No thank you!!!

Have you considered getting the Bus? Drive to Baza and park up for free, loads of safe areas near the bus station, then catch the Bus to Alicante its just over 20 euro single

No fuel charges and no parking charges, but off course it depends on timings for your flights but worth a look I did it recently and saved a good few euro !!

Yip forgot about Cullar, fab indeed, in coach film, air-conditioning for each reclining seat and on-board toilets.

Top tip bring a pair of headphones to plug into the seat back entertainment system. Or bring your IPAD, IPOD or laptop and use the seat back power connections.

Only downside I found was the length of Journey however I really enjoyed stopping at the likes of Velez Rubio etc places I wouldn't normally drive to so nice to see.

Absolutely! It takes about four hours with stops, but you get a chance to have a nose around all these different places. We were amazed at the amount of palm trees in Elche.

like the idea of the bus from Cullar in future & stop offs! is there a timetable online anywhere.. or do you just pay when you get on?

we're going to Alicante this friday & always use sunairportparking.com

easy to email & let them know when you're arriving - English & Spanish guys

- arrive, hand keys over and walk straight in - when you get back they're waiting outside with your car they've washed (well... rinsed a bit) & just grab keys & off - hoping they've not taken your car on a Ferris Bueller's Day Off style trip in the meantime!

after months here can't wait to go back to Morecambe this weekend for constant rain ahead! haha

I have also used Cluas parking nr Alicante airport and they do very long term parking and will also arrange for ITV if the car needs it whilst you are away. They are very reasonable.

Re. using the bus - how easy is it to transfer from Alicante to the airport? Have only used Baza to Malaga route, would be exciting to try a new one!

Not sure but I followed an Alsa bus along the autovia from Murcia and it went into the airport at Alicante. This would make me think you could change bus at Murcia. Especially as at the airport their are signs for cheap bus transfer to Benidorm and Murcia.

There is a local bus from the bus station in Alicante (city) to the airport (and back) every 20 minutes at 2.70 euros.
