Camping gas bottles

Post by rammstein on Sun Sep 04, 2016 10:02 pm

Does anyone know of anywhere in the general Huescar area that sells or refills the blue camping gas bottles?

Thanks

I have never been able to find these in Spain.

For my camping gas I have changed to the 6kg butano bottles but even these are incredibly hard to find and I usually get refills at the Repsol fuel station between Vera and Garuccha(spelling Evil or Very Mad ) when my boss drags me down there to shop in Iceland Laughing

A couple of years ago we bought the small blue gas canisters from the ferreteria in Calle Morote in Huescar. Maybe they could get/have the larger bottles too.

We got one! A friend told us to go to the Ferreteria Guillen near the roundabout with the Dama de Baza statue in Baza. No problem. Got a full bottle and said just to take it back when empty to swap for full one.

We got a 3kg one. They had other smaller ones. Looked half the size I think.

Brico Baza have the smaller sizes. We use them with our gas poker and haven't had any problems getting hold of them
